  • Work as a key member of the SawStop Engineering, global innovation and product line team
  • Leads delivery and continuous improvement activities related to released products.  The role expands across quality of incoming systems, technical aspects of vendor management, and continuous improvement of quality/cost/delivery through engineering activities.
  • Partners with other organizations locally and with staff located overseas to design and implement improvement strategies for processes, cost, quality, inventory and services.
  • Structures process improvements including supplier relations and reviews, quality, and component obsolescence.
  • Leads significant projects and improvement initiatives, scheduling and planning, budgeting and control.
  • Builds, coaches, and motivates an engaged team of professionals.


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
  • 10+ years of engineering experience in roles with progressively increasing responsibilities. 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience with NPI processes including stage gate, testing, and overseas manufacturing ramps.
  • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with management of Off-shore manufacturing under ODM, CM, and CDM models.
