  • Work as a key member of the SawStop Engineering, global innovation and product line team
  • Drives execution of projects related to both product and process development. Leads Electrical and Software development and delivery activities as part of the NPI and sustaining programs.
  • Leads growth of the core competency around safety technology and provides point of contact for the company in this area.  Collects requirements and works with the broader team to establish clear roadmap and development paths for this critical area.
  • Designs and implements improvement strategies for new features, cost, quality, inventory and services.
  • Leads significant projects and improvement initiatives, scheduling and planning, budgeting and control.
  • Builds, coaches, and motivates an engaged team of professions.
  • Searches for new technologies and processes in line with company business directions. Scout and further develop production technologies in cooperation with global and local team.
  • Identifies and delivers on external partnerships with suppliers or other technology providers.


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 10 years of engineering management experience in roles with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams responsible for delivering multiple products.
  • Experience with NPI processes including stage gate, testing, and overseas manufacturing ramps.
  • Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication and execution.
